WHAT IS MOGPlay ?

Given the mainstream adoption of camera-equipped smartphones, the recent rise in popularity of live streaming platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Twitch - the role of the amateur videographer has been transformed over the last years. There is currently no platform linking content producers to the agencies interested in using them, while simultaneously protecting them legally, and ensuring content quality through a gratification mechanism.

OBJECTIVES

In summary, we’ll be developing a live event video production gratification system through blockchain/cryptocurrency mechanisms. Our aim is to make a viable product which can be generalized to different live events contexts, making it as configurable as possible to achieve a consistent and personalizable product on the buyer's end. The main focus is to implement a blockchain based architecture for rewarding users for the content that they produce.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This is a B2B product whose target audience are companies that wish to set up a configurable platform to manage live-streamed video. As examples, this includes potential clients: journalism agencies (e.g., Jornal de Notícias, Correio da Manhã) to set up a gratification system for freelance journalists; music festival organizers (e.g., NOS - Alive, Primavera Sound.) to set up a platform to showcase and gratify videos streamed by the attendees.
